19A Idea Napkin 2
1) You
- I am Gyuhyeok Choi, student in University of Florida. I'm hard working, positive, flexible and creative person. One of the strongest skills I have is organizing the problems or projects, and calculate the objects. I'm pretty social so I love meeting and eating out with my friends. On that situation, especially game days, I face the parking problems. One day, on game day, me and my friend couldn't find a parking lot in ale house. I just said to him what if we had some application or system like parking lot finder, and realized it was definitely a great idea. So I started to think about this.
2) What are you offering to customers?
- This business is really simple, just help people to find out parking lots around them or specific location.
3) Who are you offering it to?
- Main target would be drivers who are looking for parking spaces. At very first, I'm going to start this from Gainesville, then move on Florida and whole states. As I'm starting this from Gainesville, I guess most of the users would be students.
4) Why do they care?
- If you ask any of your friend who has car about parking problems, they would say they would like to park whenever they want, and wherever they want. If you are driver, they would care this.
5) What are your core competencies?
- As I am not science or math person, I can not deal with programming stuff, even though I'm the person who have this idea. So I'm going to do something on person by person thing. Focusing on after service thing, accepting and calculating the feedback and problems, and try to figure it out. As I said I'm positive, flexible person, I would enjoy and would have open-mind to get feedback and receiving problems to make better system.

I think this is a very clever idea. Maybe beginning it in a specific community and seeing how it develops, with sensors or another way to monitor the parking spot than can be built when the construction of the parking lot or garage is built. Thats great that you are positive and open minded, because I believe in years to come this will allow parking to be more efficient.
답글삭제I agree with Felix in that you could really start somewhere small and grow this into a nation-wide app. Maybe even starting with a "map" or "directory" in a mall parking lot that shows all the open parking spaces within that parking lot. This would be so helpful during busy seasons! This product will definitely be something that all parking lots will have in the future. Maybe you can partner with someone who knows more about coding and work with them!
