30A Final Reflection

이미지
1. Still, even though it is end of the semester, I think the very first assignment was the hardest, the Bug list. I know I complain every single day about every simple stuff, but when the screen told me to write some of those, I could not get those thoughts from the brain directly and immediately. The best moment would be after I got feedback from the people in start-up. 2. Actually I thought that I did pretty well on my structure of business during the semester. Fortunately, I knew several people who does start-up in U.S and Korea, so I was pretty excited to share my idea with them. However, since I got feedback from them, especially about making money by the business, I realized I still need to learn more about entrepreneurship and structure of business. It sounds weird but it was the best moment I had in this class during the semester, can't forget those feedback and the phone call from them. 3. I think, yeah a bit. I'm not sure on mindset but I tried to be creative, and...

29 A Venture Concept

-        Opportunity : Basic opportunity is same. The potential customer of this venture business is the people who owns the car or wants to find the parking lot. There is no geographic or demographic limits on this markets, if the person owns the car and cell phone with wifi, then everything is fine. At very first, I bind the group of customer nationally, but changed it to local area, Gainesville, Florida. According to our activities on this class, 5A Identifying Local Opportunities, Gainesville and University of Florida have parking lot or restriction problem. As parking is one of the essential daily action, I think this has huge opportunity to satisfy people’s needs, and it has potential to maintain its opportunity for a while. ++Opportunity would be opened almost every moment, as the need of this application would happen in sudden situation. Plus, it would get bigger after this business get adapted in the city. -     ...

28 A Exit strategy

My exit strategy would be hard, actually, depends on how much money I can get from selling my business. If i satisfy with the money they suggested, I might sell it if I can get some returns. I know it is entrepreneurship class, I'm kind of safe-prefer person. Everything could happen in business, so I would sell it and stay rich later years. Even though I do not sell my business, I will not pass it down to my children. Of course, I hope my child to maintain business and make it better. However, in my experience, when i was in Boston, most of my guys parents had their own business and worked well. When I asked them what are you going to do after college, they said they'll just follow up father's business. Some of guys had great visions and dreams, such as they want to build up their parents business bigger or make up as different way. However, in most cases around me were just being unmotivated and doing nothing. They think following up parents business is kind of insurance...

27A - Reading Reflection

The book I chose for the last reading reflection part three is the "Thinking Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman.  Most of the content in this book is about 'way of thinking'. The fast thinking comes from the automatic/cognitive thinking, but the slow thinking comes from the computation/problem-analysis with efforts. Lets say, you said some compliments to your friend, and the reaction of your friends face, and the emotion you accepted from that reaction could be example of fast thinking. As it looks like, fast thinking is kind of direct output. Solving math problems could be slow thinking. You would think and concern more to solve the problem rather than solving it directly. The book is not really asking you to act in certain way, but it helps you to realize your strength and weakness in your cognitive thinking skills.  I would recommend this book who work in business and planning. As I am a sports management major, which means I have to take care of both side as ser...

26A - Celebrating failure

There are tons of thing that i get failed or missed in this semester, I can not even remember all those things. Plus, sharing what I failed to others is tough also. During the whole semester, I mean in class, I'm not really into online courses, so I forgot to do my entrepreneurship class assignments several times, which definitely worked a lot on my grade.  Another big failure was losing the game competition. Most of my best friends are graduating this semester or serving army after this semester. We decided to participate game competition as our last event. Well, actually, we achieved 2nd place on competition, but felt sense of frustration after finals, as we prepared like professional teams.  The thing what I learned during those failure is my complacency. I forgot the thing I have to do on first failure, and i get inattention into finals, cause we beat them on scrimmage game. Well, I think I'm still struggling with those failures, and still feel pain on my mind wh...
